Children have 6 weeks from the date of piercing in which they can cover the ears with plasters after which they must be removed as according to British Gymnastics Insurance policy. There are no exceptions to this policy.



FOOTWEAR
-
Bare feet must be worn unless a child has a verucca then a sock may be worn
-
Coaches help children put on/take off socks and shoes but sliders are recommended.



HAIR
-
Medium to long hair must be tied up at all times regardless of gender.
-
Very long ponytails are not recommended and plaited long hair is strongly recommended



MEMBERSHIP/ INSURANCE
INSURANCE
Parent must register and purchase insurance directly from British gymnastics themeselves at:

WE CANNOT ANSWER ANY QUERIES REGARDING INSURANCE AND YOU MUST CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY.
CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT A VALID INSURANCE POLICY



CLUB MEMBERSHIP
CLUB MEMBERSHIP IS £25 AND RUNS SEPTEMBER TO SEPTEMBER. THIS IS DISCOUNTED TO £20 IF JOINING AFTER APRIL. THIS IS A SEPARATE COST TO INSURANCE AND IS NOT CONNECTED



CLASSSES AND AGES GUIDELINES
BABY GYM
-
New Born and All Babies
-
Toddlers
-
Children aged 3 and 4 who are not yet ready to attend a class alone
-
Children aged 3 and 4 who may need assistance going to the toilet
-
Not suitable for school aged children



MINI GYM
-
Children ages 3 and 4 who are comfortable coming in without parents
-
Children aged 5 who are a little apprehensive and pefer smaller groups
-
Children aged 3-5 who can go to the toilet without any assistance
-
Children aged 5 who have no gymnastics experince



RECREATION
-
Children ages 5,6,7 who are complete beginners or have some experience and are still working on fundamental skills such as cartwheels and handstands
-
Boys who prefer to be in a class mixed with girls
-
Children must be independent enough to attend alone without parents.

Not suitable for beginner aged 8+ please see girls improvers.



BEGINNER BOYS
-
Boys aged 5,6,7 who are beginners or have some experience and are still working on fundamental gymnastics skills such a cartwheels, handstands etc
-
Boys who prefer to be in an all boys group working on parkor specific skills as opposed to general gymnastics.

Not suitable for complete beginners aged 8+ please see boys advanced



GIRLS IMPROVERS
-
Girls ages 8+ who are either complete beginners OR
-
Girls aged 6+ that are working on more advanced skills such as front and backwalkover and can already peform a good handstand, bridge and cartwheel
-
Coaches will adapt stations to suit complete beginners or more advanced gymnasts



BOYS ADVANCED
-
Boys aged 8+ who are experienced and want to progress to more advanced skills
-
Boys aged 8+ who are complete beginners.
-
Coaches will adapt stations to suit complete beginners or more advanced gymnasts



GIRLS ADVANCED
-
Girls ages 10+ who are either complete beginners OR
-
Girls aged 8+ that are working on more advanced skills such as front and back somersaults and back handsprings
-
Coaches will split into groups based on expereince level.



CIRCUS & DANCE
-
Circus Beginner: Children who have no circus experience or are aged 5 - 7
-
circus advanced:Children who have had circus experience or are aged 8+
-
Dance for children aged 7+



ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
DROP OFF & PICK UP
-
The carpark is a communal carpark and is used by the entire buisness park. Please try to use rainbow gymnastics spaces which are marked out. There are some at the front and the side of the building

You can also park out on ballyoran lane



PARENTS DAYS
-
Parents are invited in at scheduled times to see their childs class
-
Strictly 1 parent is allowed per child and no other children or babies can attend.
-
All members must wear a face mask and if exempt must wear a visor. No exceptions can be made for this and you will no be permitted access to the building without this



BODY PIERCINGS
-
No jewellry is permitted including fit bits or stud earrings
-
Stud earrings cannot be covered with a plaster and must be removed. This is due to British gymnastics including this in their insurance policy terms due to a number of serious accidents involving stud earrings during gymnastics.



MEDICATION
-
All children who have declared they a medical condition on registration must bring in date medication at every session or they will be refused entry due to health and safety.
-
Parents must also provide an up to date action plan to administer any medication.
